BYD Cars PH opens first Visayas dealership in Cebu

BYD Cars Philippines, under the distributorship of ACMobility, formerly known as AC Motors, is expanding its presence to areas outside Metro Manila, this time with its first dealership in the Central Visayas region, specifically on the island of Cebu.

Located along A.S. Fortuna Street, Mandaue City, Cebu, BYD Cebu is owned and operated by Global Star Motors Corporation and is the first new dealership to open after AC Motors was rebranded as ACMobility. 

“BYD’s rapid expansion in the country provides more Filipinos with access to its technologically superior, efficient, and ultra-safe line-up of battery electric vehicles,” says ACMobility CEO Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala.

“As we take this innovative technology to more regions, it is the hardworking individuals in our dealerships who answer our customers’ questions, attend to their needs, and, more importantly, support and reinforce the BYD EV ownership experience. The 2,155 sqm full-service dealership facility wears the latest BYD Global Brand Identity, and features a 354 sqm showroom area that can accommodate six vehicles on display, with a dedicated service reception area, customer lounge, and new car release bay. It also features seven service bays for vehicle aftersales work.

In addition, it will soon feature an electric vehicle charging station with AC and DC chargers for BYD vehicles as well as vehicles from other brands.
