The top-spec Kia Seltos 1.4 Turbo SX is now available in PH

It was just a month and a few weeks ago when Kia Philippines introduced the refreshed Seltos lineup to the market. It was announced to have three variants but only the cheaper two were initially available. That changes now.
The Korean automaker, under the distributorship of AC Motors, has just announced that units of the top-spec Seltos 1.4 Turbo SX have arrived in the country and are now officially available through their dealership network. This variant comes with additional convenience features and amenities, and a more powerful powertrain compared to the other variants.

Compared to the non-turbo variants of the Seltos, the 1.4 Turbo SX adds plenty with LED fog lights, roof rails, a panoramic sunroof, semi-gloss black 17-inch alloy wheels, LED taillights, leather seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and dual zone climate control, among others.

It also gets additional safety equipment in the form of advanced driver-assist systems composed of smart cruise control with stop-and-go function, lane keep assist, lane following assist, and forward collision avoidance assist. It also gets the addition of having six airbags instead of just two.
As its name suggests, the top-spec Seltos gets a 1.4-liter Smartstream-G turbocharged Inline 4-cylinder gasoline engine under the hood. This produces 140 horsepower and 242 Nm of torque, mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The 2024 Kia Seltos 1.4 Turbo SX is now available at all Kia dealerships with a suggested retail price of Php 1,688,000. For reference, the entry-level 1.5 LX IVT and 1.5 EX IVT are priced at Php 1,198,000 and Php 1,288,000, respectively.
