The BMW iX1 is available in a single eDrive20 xLine variant which is priced at Php 3,990,000. That’s a mere Php 100,000 more than its ICE-powered counterpart—the BMW X1 sDrive 18d xLine. This also effectively makes it the most affordable fully-electric model in the brand’s Philippine lineup.

Design-wise, the iX1 is naturally very much identical to its ICE-powered counterpart with a few differences such as a closed-off panel for the signature kidney grille, satin aluminum trim, as well as a slightly redesigned rear bumper and taillights. It also rides on a more aerodynamic set of two-tone 18-inch alloy wheels

Available exterior colors are Mineral White, Black Sapphire, Space Silver, Phytonic Blue, San Remo Green, and Cape York Green.

The interior is also largely the same with a curved housing for the 10.25-inch digital driver’s display and 10.7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The seats are wrapped in black Veganza leather and it also comes with a sport steering wheel and Harman Kardon audio system.

Powering the BMW iX1 is a single electric motor paired with a 64.7 kWh lithium-ion battery. This setup allows for an output of 207 horsepower and 247 Nm of torque, mated to single-speed fixed ratio transmission that sends power to the front wheels.

BMW estimates its electricity consumption to be anywhere between 17.2 to 16.7 kWh/100 km, with an estimated driving range of 430 to 473 kilometers on the WLTP cycle.

In terms of safety, the BMW iX1 comes equipped with some automated driving systems as standard. This includes cruise control with brake function, front-collision warning system, and BMW Parking Assistant. Other assist systems can be also added as an option including Active Cruise Control with Stop&Go, among others.
