Nissan PH gives Terra lineup some equipment updates for 2024

2 min read

Just like its main rival, the segment’s best-selling Toyota Fortuner, the Nissan Terra has also received some updates for this year, specifically the VE, VL, and Sport variants. Nissan Philippines, Inc. (NPI) says that these updates were done for better convenience and additional safety

The updates mainly focus on the VE 4×2 A/T variant which gets additional equipment previously only seen on the top-spec VL variant. These additional features are an Intelligent Around-view Monitor (IAVM) with Moving Object Detection (MOD), Blind Spot Warning (BSW), and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA). These are in addition to other features from the Nissan Intelligent Mobility advanced driver-assistance technology suite which it already gets. Also added is an electronic parking brake, which also means the VE now gets four-wheel disc brakes.

The VL and Sport variants, both 4×2 and 4×4, also get an update, albeit a returning feature. They all now get a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system paired with an 8-speaker Bose premium audio system. It will be remembered that VL variants got a downgraded 8-inch screen last year due to the global chip shortage. Also, the Bose sound system is no longer exclusive to the 4×4 variants.

With the expanded availability of Nissan Intelligent Mobility features, the updates brought to the Terra lineup showcase Nissan’s dedication to bringing safe and innovative vehicles to its customers,” says NPI President Juan Manuel Hoyos.

Pricing for the 2024 Nissan Terra has also been updated with increases ranging from anywhere between Php 10,000 and Php 80,000. They are as follows:

  • Terra 2.5 EL 4×2 M/T – Php 1,729,000
  • Terra 2.5 VE 4×2 A/T – Php 1,969,000
  • Terra 2.5 VL 4×2 A/T – Php 2,119,000
  • Terra 2.5 VL 4×4 A/T – Php 2,409,000
