AC Motors is now ACMobility
AC Motors, the local distributor of two- and four-wheel vehicle makes such as Volkswagen, BYD, Kia, KTM, and Husqvarna; dealer of Honda and Isuzu; and the automotive arm of the Ayala Corporation, is no longer just about these brands. They’re now about moving people and that’s what came with a new rebrand.
Announced recently, the company will now be known as ACMobility. The company says this rebrand reflects their transformation from just selling automotive vehicles to an end-to-end mobility provider that covers services, infrastructure, and eventually digital platforms, among others.
“At ACMobility, we aspire to be the leading mobility provider for all by the end of this decade. By calling ourselves a mobility provider, we seek to go beyond simply selling vehicles. Our goal is to provide value in the whole ecosystem, which includes building a new electric vehicle platform and providing people with different options that enable their mobility in life,” said ACMobility CEO Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala.
Among the company’s recent efforts is its investment into the development of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations around the country. There are currently 33 stations operated by the company on 16 Ayala Land properties, with 100 more in 40 locations aimed to be added throughout the year.
“Through each of the brand partners of ACMobility, the company upholds its commitment to quality customer service, and to providing a wide variety of products and services that bring value to customers and help move Filipinos forward amid a rapidly transforming global automotive industry,” Zobel added.
