JMC Philippines is launching these trucks at MIAS 2024

Sometime last year, Astara Philippines, the local distributor of Peugeot and GAC vehicles, announced the newest brand to join their local portfolio, JMC.
JMC, standing for Jiangling Motors Corporation, and like many other Chinese brands, is set to officially make their public debut in the local market at this year’s edition of the Manila International Auto Show.
Unlike most Chinese automakers who are focusing on crossovers, JMC will be making its launch with the introduction of two pickup truck models—the Vigus and its flagship model, the Grand Avenue.
Full specifications for both vehicles have not yet been revealed, but JMC Philippines says that the Vigus is positioned for those looking for a pickup truck for their business fleet with it providing “ample power, delivering performance, space, comfort, and style in a complete and affordable package.”
Meanwhile, the flagship Grand Avenue certainly shows off with what JMC describes as bold and tough exterior styling, matched with a turbodiesel powertrain and an elegant interior that features premium materials, as well as the latest tech and safety features. JMC also says that it “perfectly combines power, comfort, and versatility in a premium package.”
“We are ready to meet the demand for cutting-edge pickups in the country. The launch of our new models brings better options into the market, offering Filipinos a choice for performance, efficiency, and comfort with the best value for money. Backed by the support of Astara Philippines, JMC is ready to kick off a prosperous journey in the Philippines,” shared JMC Philippines Brand Head Arlan Reyes.
Curious? Again, JMC Philippines will be making their public debut alongside the launch of these new pickup trucks at the upcoming Manila International Auto Show which is happening this coming April 4 to 7, 2024 at the World Trade Center Metro Manila and SMX Convention Center, both in Pasay City.
