Peugeot PH opens two new dealerships, sales growth at almost 300%

Peugeot Philippines, under the distributorship of Astara Philippines, appears to be one of the fastest growing automotive brands in the country today. The company continues to experience rapid growth in the Philippines since it re-launched back in January. In addition, it also held the inauguration of two new outlets.

To be specific, as of November 2022, Peugeot’s sales in the Philippines grew by a whopping 297% compared to the previous year. The company attributes this sales success to the increasing demand for its lineup of crossovers and single minivan offering. Right now, the company offers the Peugeot 2008, Peugeot 3008, Peugeot 5008, and Peugeot Traveller Premium, all of which were launched this year.

Customer response to our brand has truly been remarkable since re-launching in January, proving that more and more Filipinos are drawn to the allure of driving a Peugeot. We’re also making great progress with opening new showrooms and service facilities in partnership with our dealers, which is key to enhancing the ownership experience of our customers,” said Maricar Parco, brand head of Peugeot for the Philippines.

As for the two new outlets, these are Peugeot Cebu and Peugeot Negros, both operated by the Gateway Group. Bearing the brand’s latest global dealership design concept, these new outlets are the brand’s flagship dealerships for the Visayas region.

Peugeot Cebu is a 481 sqm facility and is situated along Gorordo Avenue, Cebu City. It has a capacity of three (3) vehicles for display in its showroom and three (3) car bays in its service area. Meanwhile, Peugeot Negros is located on a 520 sqm property at Zone 15, National Highway, Barangay Matab-ang, Talisay City and features a four (4) vehicle showroom and a two (2) service bays.

The new Peugeot Cebu and Negros are the brand’s sixth and seventh outlets in the country. Three more are expected to open before the year ends and these will be located in Balintawak and Manila Bay for Metro Manila, Sta. Rosa in Laguna, and Bocaue in Bulacan.
