Subaru is bringing STI and Wilderness to the Japan Mobility Show 2025

Of course, a brand that we can’t forget for the Japan Mobility Show is Subaru, and the brand seems to have a lot up its sleeve for the upcoming show later this month.

For the show, the exhibition concept is called Driving the Subaru Difference, but the booth will have two kinds of experiences, as the brand calls it.

The first half is called the Performance Scene, where the world premiere of two STI concept models will take place.

The first model is the Performance-E STI concept, which represents the brand’s future for performance as a battery electric vehicle concept car. Meanwhile, the second car, the Performance-B STI concept, looks significantly more familiar.

This will utilize the familiar boxer engine and Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive as a basis, giving its fans more of the heritage performance they’ve been clamoring for.

Meanwhile, the Adventure Scene focuses on the more rugged side of the brand, with the likes of the Trailseeker BEV, the Forester Wilderness, and the Outback Wilderness prototypes making their Japanese debuts.

Finally, the crazy 1983 Subaru GL Family Huckster of Travis Pastrana will be shown off, where this ho-hum family wagon has been converted into a crazy 862 horsepower, active-aero clad gymkhana weapon.

We will be on the ground at the upcoming Japan Mobility Show, so stay tuned for our live coverage of the show.
