The all-new Toyota Land Cruiser 300 has been spotted on PH roads

Are you one of those who already placed their orders for a new Toyota Land Cruiser 300? Well it looks like you won’t have to wait that much longer as units are already in the country.

A trio of 300-series Land Cruisers were spotted being transported in Batangas City, probably coming from Batangas Port. The photos showing these was posted on the Interesting Car Spotting PH Facebook group by a user named Ef.

Shown in the photos is what is obviously the top-spec ZX variant. This is evidenced by the 20-inch alloy wheels and bumpers. Other than that, not much else can be seen but according to a report by Autoindustriya.com, the Land Cruiser 300 ZX will have LED headlights with sequential LED turn signals for the front and rear, and an illuminated stepboard. Inside, the ZX will be equipped with a new 12.3-inch touchscreen head unit, a huge improvement over the 6.75-inch AVT touchscreen on the outgoing model. It will also come with a JBL audio system, a heads-up display, and an electronic parking brake.

It’s already confirmed that under the hood will be a new 3.3-liter twin-turbo diesel V6 engine that produces 305 hp and 700 Nm of torque. This will be paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission with power of course sent to all four wheels.

For safety, all Land Cruiser 300’s will be equipped with a 360 Panoramic Camera and 10 Airbags, among others. Both ZX and VX variants will also be equipped with Toyota Safety Sense, a suite of driver-assist features which include adaptive cruise control and blind spot monitoring.

Pricing is also expected to increase by more than half a million pesos. The VX variant is to be priced at Php 5,173,000 while the ZX will be at Php 5,642,000. An additional Php 15,000 is also to be charged for White Pearl colors. That’s a huge difference versus the outgoing 200-series but it seems to be worth it considering the new features.

With the all-new Toyota Land Cruiser 300 already in the country, it won’t be surprising to see a lot of them driving on our roads once it’s launched, especially considering the popularity of the previous generations of the model. That launch date is expected to be by October this year.
