The Chery Tiggo 2 crossover is priced like a hatchback

It’s been over a year since COVID-19 first entered our country and almost a year since the first lockdowns happened. Now we’re still in the midst of this pandemic and safe, dependable mobility continues to be more and more important.

The Chery Tiggo 2 is the brand’s entry-level SUV and is priced at just Php 695,000. The Tiggo 2 is powered by a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine and has a space-efficient body with a generous wheelbase of 2,555mm.

The sleekly styled Tiggo 2 boasts projector-type headlights with LED daytime running lights matched by LED taillights. A unique safety feature not common among cars is the Tiggo 2’s speeding alarm system in which you can set a certain speed between 40 to 120 km/h to prevent unintended overspeeding, which also comes with the M/T shift reminder to ensure smooth and fuel-efficient driving. The Tiggo 2 also has an automatic real-time Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

The Chery Tiggo 2 comes with manual or automatic transmissions: the 1.5 M/T (Php 695,000) and the 1.5 A/T (Php 770,000). The two-tone variant retails for Php 795,000.
