And this is not leaked information.

About a week after sending out invites to the virtual launch of the Maxus G50, Maxus Philippines, under the distributorship of AC Motors, the automotive arm of the Ayala Corporation, has announced that units of the upcoming MPV have arrived in the country.

The G50 will be the brand’s fourth model in their local lineup after the G10, V80, and T60. It will also be their first model to be powered by a gasoline powertrain. It was earlier announced that the G50 will be powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The 2021 Maxus G50 will be available in three different variants with seating capacities of up to 8 passengers in a 2-3-3 seating configuration. In times of social distancing, the G50 can still hold up to 6. It will also be available in 7 different unique color choices: Polar Ash, Deep Golden, Warm White, Warm Argent, Metal Black, Water Blue, and Roland Purple.

The Maxus G50 won’t be left behind in the safety and convenience department, or as Maxus says it, equipped to the max, as it is equipped with ESP (Electronic Stability program), EPB (Electronic Parking Brake), Auto Hold, Reverse Camera and Park Distance control, and keyless entry and push start features, all as standard. In addition, all who will purchase a Maxus G50 will benefit from a 5-year service warranty.

No pricing has been announced yet but we can expect to hear that and even more details about the all-new Maxus G50 once it’s launched on August 25, 2020.
