The MG 6 gets a new face and faster engine in China

Just like the company’s compact crossover SUV, the MG ZS, the MG 6 sedan seems to have received a facelift as well. Images of the updated 2020 MG 6 have surfaced on Chinese automotive website, Xin Che Ping.
What’s obvious is that the MG 6 gets a completely new front fascia just like the ZS. The new headlights, bumper, and new grille make for a sharp looking front end.
At the back, changes aren’t as obvious with slight updated taillights and a new bumper with larger exhaust pipes. There is also a new set of alloy wheels.
Engine specs are also updated. It still gets a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine but with 12 more horsepower at 178 hp. MG claims that this can reach a top speed of 210 kph and has an average fuel consumption of just around 16 km/l.
MG should unveil this car within a few months and we hope to see it in our shores really soon.
