VinFast sets a Vietnamese record with 100,000 cars sold in the first three quarters of the year

VinFast has officially become the first car brand in the Vietnamese market to surpass the 100,000 vehicle sales mark after only the first three quarters of the year. This comes after 11 consecutive months of being “best-selling in Vietnam” with an increasing market share, affirming VinFast’s absolute leading position in the domestic market.
In September 2025, VinFast sold 13,914 electric vehicles, bringing the cumulative total from the beginning of the year to the end of the third quarter to 103,884 vehicles–achieving unprecedented sales in the history of the Vietnamese automotive market.

In particular, the best-selling model is the VF 3–dubbed the “national electric car model” with a total of 31,386 units sold in nine months, of which 2,682 units were sold in September alone.

Ranked second is the VF 5 with 30,956 vehicles sold in the first three quarters of the year, and 3,847 units sold last month alone. The service-optimized version of VF 5, Herio Green, also reached 8,604 cumulative units sold, of which 2,173 units were sold in September alone.

The third best-selling model of VinFast is the VF 6, with 14,425 units sold since the beginning of the year, including 1,933 units in September and many orders still waiting to be delivered to customers.

The VF 7 also achieved impressive results, being one of the most popular C-SUV models today with a cumulative nine-month sales of 5,877 units and 778 units sold in September. The seven-seat MPV model optimized for the Limo Green service business also had a strong breakthrough in September, reaching the top of the segment with 2,120 units delivered to customers.
With the peak business months of the fourth quarter still ahead, production capacity has been expanded with two factories in Hai Phong and Ha Tinh, VinFast is expected to set even more impressive new records by the end of 2025.
Speaking about the breakthrough achievement after the first nine months of the year, Ms. Duong Thi Thu Trang – Deputy General Director of Sales and Marketing of VinFast globally, said: “Behind the sales of more than 100,000 cars are millions of customers’ support and trust in VinFast. We are extremely grateful to consumers and committed to making continuous efforts to continue bringing more practical benefits to customers, thereby strongly promoting the green transformation in Vietnam.”
VinFast’s persistence in surpassing all foreign gasoline and electric vehicle manufacturers for 11 consecutive months, becoming the first vehicle manufacturer to achieve record sales of 100,000 vehicles in the first 9 months of the year, has affirmed VinFast’s absolute No. 1 position in the Vietnamese market.
This is also a clear demonstration of the unprecedented rise of the Vietnamese automotive industry, when domestic automotive brands far surpass international automotive brands, becoming the first choice of the majority of customers.
In particular, VinFast’s record sales are an important indicator that electric vehicles have become a mainstream consumption trend in Vietnam. This trend not only ensures VinFast’s positive and sustainable business prospects but also affirms its ability to realize the goal of making Vietnam one of the leading countries in popularizing electric vehicles in the world in the near future.
