Yamaha PH Introduces 2021 Mio Aerox

About a week after launching its new Y-Connect smartphone application, Yamaha Philippines has now launched one of its most awaited models in the market, and one that its new application is compatible with, the 2021 Mio Aerox. 

The 2021 Yamaha Mio Aerox was launched alongside the Y-Connect enabled 2021 Yamaha NMAX and features upgraded styling and features as well as compatibility with the Y-Connect smartphone application.

Powering the 2021 Aerox is a 155cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, single-cylinder engine paired to a CVT. It produces 15.2 hp and 13.9 Nm of torque and has Variable Valve Actuation and Blue Core technology. It also has a fuel tank capacity of 5.5L.

In terms of looks, the 2021 Aerox gets larger LED headlights and position lights as well as new turn signals which can be found further into the body. The footboard has been redesigned for a sportier and more comfortable riding experience. The seat has also been redesigned slightly for better comfort for the rider and passenger. Other changes are redesigned LED taillights, an enhanced digital instrument panel, and a new hazard light switch.

The new digital instrument panel allows integration with Yamaha’s new Y-Connect app and can display notifications from your smartphone. It also shows an RPM bar, fuel level, fuel consumption, volt meter, oil trip meter, and other information.

The 2021 Yamaha Mio Aerox is now available in two variants which are Standard and S. Both variants are compatible with the Y-Connect smartphone app. The Standard variant is priced at Php 112,900 while the Aerox S is priced at Php 132,900.
