You Can Now Get The Chery Tiggo 2 With A Two-Tone Color Scheme

Two-tone color schemes are likely to give any car extra style that a monotone finish just can’t match. These special factory-applied two-tone finishes on new cars have previously been seen only on premium and luxury cars, from white-roofed Mini Coopers to black-topped Land Rovers. This also includes some of the popular mass-market vehicles in the country today such as the Toyota Fortuner LTD and Geely Coolray.

One mass-market brand is bringing the sporty and youthful style of contrasting colors to a new market segment. Chery Auto Philippines has officially  announced the availability of a select number of two-tone finishes for its in-demand Tiggo 2 subcompact crossover.

Available in six monotone exterior colors, the Tiggo 2 can now also be ordered in unique combinations of Blue with Black top, Red with Black top, and Orange with Black top. The new black-top finishes perfectly matches the black trim found on the Tiggo 2’s front and rear bumpers, window pillars, rear spoiler, fender openings, and rocker panels, giving the car a sportier and more upscale feel. It even perfectly blends with the two-tone black-and-silver finish of the 16-inch light alloy wheels.

Inside, the two-tone theme is continued with special orange stitching and orange accents on the black-upholstered seats. 

The Tiggo 2 is powered by a DOHC 16-valve EFI Euro 5-compliant 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 106 horsepower and 135 Nm of torque. Other features include dynamic headlights with LED daytime running lights, C-shaped LED taillights, and stylish and functional spoilers on the front bumper, side skirts, and a rear wing. 

Inside, there’s an 8-inch Full HD touchscreen with smartphone screen mirroring which lets you access and mirror your smartphone on the Tiggo 2’s display. It also includes Apple CarPlay connectivity. The Tiggo 2’s display supports 1080HD pictures and videos just like your HD flat-screen TV at home. The system also has a USB port, so you can enjoy high-quality multimedia files onboard with support for almost all documents, pictures, music and video formats. The Tiggo 2’s touchscreen is also equipped with a reverse radar + reverse image with dynamic guidelines to help you maneuver safely. 

Last but not the least, the Tiggo 2 is equipped with Hill Hold Control (HHC), which prevents the vehicle from rolling backwards on an uphill incline, as well as Electronic Stability Control (ESC), which helps ensure vehicle control on slippery roads. 

The two-tone variant is available at Php 795,000 SRP and can also be availed at a low DP of Php 20,000. The Chery Tiggo 2 comes with manual or automatic transmissions: the 1.5 M/T (Php 695,000) and the 1.5 A/T (Php 770,000). The Tiggo 2 is available through low down payment or low monthly promos.
