2nd-gen Kia Seltos makes ASEAN debut at GIIAS 2026

The second generation Kia Seltos is getting closer to our shores as PT Kia Sales Indonesia launches it at the 2026 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), marking its ASEAN Region debut.
The subcompact crossover was completely redesigned for its second generation, initially unveiled for the South Korean market in December last year. Three variants are available for the Indonesian market—Trendy, Prestige+, and GT Line.
As you probably already know, the all-new Kia Seltos is a huge departure from before, now wearing the latest iteration of the brand’s Opposites United design language. All variants in Indonesia are powered by a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated Smartstream engine, making a humble 115 horsepower and 144Nm of torque, mated to a CVT.

With the all-new Kia Seltos already available in Indonesia, it won’t be surprising to see the subcompact crossover make its Philippine debut soon. Kia Philippines already confirmed its arrival a few months ago, and we were already given the opportunity to drive it in South Korea. You can read about our initial thoughts and experience here.

Pricing for the all-new Kia Seltos in Indonesia starts at IDR 394,000,000 or approximately Php 1,340,000. We are expecting its starting price to be a bit higher once it launches here as, though unconfirmed, we are assuming that Kia Philippines will bring in a full hybrid lineup, similar to the Kia Sorento and recently reintroduced Sportage.
