Nissan Kicks e-POWER set for PH launch on August 12
After a couple months of showcasing its e-POWER technology or powertrain, Nissan Philippines is finally set to officially introduce the new Kicks subcompact crossover in the local market, the first model in its lineup to have the said powertrain.
Posted on the official Nissan Philippines Facebook page, the 2023 Nissan Kicks e-POWER will be launched through a virtual reveal on August 12, 2022. It will be streamed live on Facebook and YouTube.
The Nissan Kicks will be competing in the very crowded and popular subcompact crossover segment, directly with the likes of the Honda HR-V and Toyota Corolla Cross, with the latter being a hybrid.
Nissan Philippines has not yet announced any specifications of the upcoming model but we were given some chances to take a look at it and take it out for a drive on public roads as well as on track.

As for pricing, we still have no idea but rumors say that it will be less than half the price of the Nissan LEAF full electric vehicle which should make it very competitive.
With e-POWER technology as standard, the 2023 Nissan Kicks will definitely boost the brand’s electrification strategy for the local market. It’ll just be a couple weeks before we finally see it.
