Kia PH confirms EV6 appearance at PIMS 2022
Meaningful technology, engineering, and innovations that will inspire customers to embrace the future will proudly be showcased at the 8th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), that is according to Kia Philippines.
Shortly after releasing a teaser on their official social media pages, the Korean automaker has confirmed that the EV6 fully electric vehicle will indeed be making an appearance during the 4-day event.
The Kia EV6 is built on the Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) of Kia’s sister company, Hyundai. That means it rides on the same platform as the Ioniq 5 which is also set to appear at the Hyundai pavilion at the PIMS. The EV6’s appearance solidifies Kia Philippines President Manny Aligada’s statement from last year mentioning the brand’s eventual push for electrified mobility in the country.
Alongside the EV6, Kia Philippines will also be displaying the Carnival family minivan, Soluto subcompact sedan, Sorento midsize crossover SUV, and Stonic Style Edition subcompact crossover.
The 8th Philippine International Motor Show starts tomorrow, September 15 up to September 18 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City, Metro Manila. Doors will be open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
