2024 Nissan GT-R specs for PH revealed

It has been a couple of months since Nissan Philippines, Inc. (NPI) started accepting reservations for the refreshed version of the GT-R. Changes aren’t monumental in nature but it still keeps the iconic sports car fresh. Now, the Japanese automaker has officially revealed on their website all the specifications and features, as well as variants, of the 2024 Nissan GT-R and we’ve compiled them all here.

Starting with the variants, the Nissan GT-R gets two in the Philippines: 3.8 Premium DCT and 3.8 NISMO DCT. Pricing for both are not available on the Nissan Philippines website as it says that it is available only upon request. Other sources do indicate it to start at Php 12,445,000.

In terms of appearance, not much has changed with the 2024 Nissan GT-R. In front, Nissan has taken away the V-Motion front grille and has replaced it with a more simple grille with a mesh pattern which reduces drag and improves cooling. There are also new daytime running lights with several small hexagons, while the rear gets new character lines and pattern for the iconic GT-R quad round taillights. Its interior remains the same.

Standard exterior equipment are multi-projector LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, rear fog light, power-adjustable and power-folding side mirrors with heated function, rear spoiler, and quad-tip titanium exhaust pipes. Available exterior colors are Vibrant Red, Ultimate Silver, Gun Metallic, Pearl White, Pearl Black, and Bayside Blue.

In terms of suspension, it gets a double-wishbone with aluminum upper links and lower arms in front and a multi-link with aluminum upper links at the rear. It also gets a Bilstein DampTronic Suspension System and stabilizer bars. As for its wheels, it rides on 20-inch staggered RAYS Forged Alloy Wheels with 6-piston monoblock calipers on 15.3″ ventilated rotors in front and 4-piston monoblock calipers on 15.0″ ventilated rotors in the rear.

On the other hand, standard interior equipment are Semi-Aniline Leather sport seats with power adjustment and heated functions, leather-wrapped steering wheel, aluminum sport pedals, leather+carbon fiber+aluminum interior trim, dual zone automatic climate control, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and an 11-speaker Bose premium audio system.

Powering the 2024 Nissan GT-R remains the same 3.8-liter VR38DETT twin-turbo V6 engine Continuously Variable Valve Timing Control System (CVVTCS) that produces 570 horsepower and 637 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) with rev matching and sending power to all four wheels with its ATTESA E-TS All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system. The engine requires 100 octane fuel.

Nissan Philippines has not officially announced the launch date of the 2024 GT-R. They have sent an invite for this coming September 2, 2023, for a private screening of the Gran Turismo movie, and the invite indicates the launch of “Nissan’s highly anticipated performance cars.”
