The fully electric BMW i4 is yours for Php 4.490M

BMW Philippines, under the distributorship of SMC Asia Cars Distributors Corporation, further expands its local EV lineup as it introduces the i4, its fourth fully electric offering in the market.

Available in a single variant—the eDrive35, the i4 is based on the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé but as already mentioned, is all-electric instead of gas-fed. It also gets a handful of unique styling cues to keep it different from the standard 4 Series Gran Coupé.

Its exterior is largely similar to the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé with its wraparound LED headlights and large Kidney grille, which in this case has been replaced with a panel since there is no need for ventilation in the area behind it. It also gets restyled bumpers and a different set of 19-inch alloy wheels for better aerodynamics, as well as blue accents all around to emphasize that it is an EV.

Inside, it is largely the same as the 3 and 4 Series Gran Coupé with a driver-centered layout. Immediately visible is its large curved display for the driver’s instrument cluster and the iDrive infotainment system.

Standard features here include a 12.3-inch information display, 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Smartphone Integration, BMW HiFi Loudspeaker System with 12-speakers, three-zone automatic climate control, wireless phone charger, and ambient lighting, among others.

In addition, the BMW i4 eDrive35 is the first model from the German automaker to offer BMW ConnectedDrive. With that, customers will be able to access and control various vehicle functions and information through the MyBMW App which can be downloaded to their smartphones.

Powering the BMW i4 eDrive35 is an electric motor paired to a 70.2 kWh battery. This produces 286 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. 0 to 100 kph acceleration is estimated at 6 seconds and driving range is estimated at 406 to 483 kilometers as per the WLTP cycle.

The 2024 BMW i4 eDrive35 is now available at all BMW dealerships in the country for a retail price of Php 4,490,000, making it the most affordable EV in the brand’s local lineup. Customers will also be able to take advantage of a 5-year comprehensive vehicle warranty, 6-year BMW Service Inclusive package, and an 8-year high voltage battery warranty.
