VinFast VF3 pre-orders now open in PH, introductory starting price is an affordable Php 605K
Just a couple of months after launching here in the Philippines, VinFast, a Vietnamese EV brand, is already expanding its lineup with the introduction of the VF 3 two-door SUV.
Initially revealed in the company’s home market of Vietnam, the VinFast VF 3’s Philippine launch marks the new model’s first international market launch and the brand’s first new model after the introduction of its initial four-car lineup.
The VinFast VF 3 is the brand’s smallest model, measuring at a very compact 3,190mm long, 1,679mm wide, and 1,622mm tall, and riding on a 2,075mm wheelbase, as well as 285 liters of cargo space.
In terms of styling, the VinFast VF 3 may capture the hearts of those looking for a retro-looking SUV, taking a similar direction as popular models such as the Suzuki Jimny and the late Toyota FJ Cruiser. It’s flat and boxy, and wears large plastic body cladding for that rugged look. It also has 190mm of ground clearance and rides on 16-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the VF 3 goes for a simple layout. Front and center is a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system which displays all vehicle information as well, and various storage spaces around for added practicality.
Powering the VinFast VF 3 is an electric motor and 18.64 kWh lithium-ion battery. Total output is at 44 horsepower and 110 Nm of torque. Total driving range is estimated at up to 210 kilometers on a single charge, and it can recharge its battery from 10% to 70% in just 36 minutes through fast charging.
The VinFast VF 3 is now one of the most affordable fully-electric vehicles you can buy in our market at the following prices:
- VF 3 (battery subscription) – Php 645,000
- VF 3 (with battery) – Php 745,000
A special Php 40,000 discount is also available to customers who reserve a unit of the VF 3 from September 19-30, 2024, bringing the prices down to Php 605,000 and Php 705,000, respectively.

- Monthly travel distance of less than 1,500 km – Php 2,800
- Monthly travel distance of 1,500 to 2,500 km – Php 3,800
- Monthly travel distance of more than 2,500 km – Php 6,300
Customers will also get to enjoy a seven-year or 160,000 kilometer vehicle warranty. For those who purchase a battery, an eight-year unlimited mileage battery warranty is also included. Those who avail of the battery subscription service will be able to take advantage of free battery maintenance and free battery replacement if capacity drops to below 70%.
