The Suzuki Jimny Rhino Edition is priced at Php 1.331M
A month after it was showcased at the 9th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), the Suzuki Jimny Rhino Edition is now officially available on the market.
Exclusively available in the three-door body style, the Jimny Rhino Edition is based on the top-spec 1.5 GLX variant equipped. While it has the same name as the one revealed in Malaysia last year, the Philippine-version is different.
For our market, the Suzuki Jimny Rhino Edition is equipped with Rhino-inspired decals and some Suzuki Genuine Accessory bits. There are also three available exterior paint jobs–White, Solid Jungle Green, and Solid Medium Gray.
Specifically, it gets a chrome-accented front grille from the 5-door body style; silver front bumper and side under garnishes; black mud flaps; Rhino Edition decals on the hood, lower doors, and rear quarter panel; and a Rhino badge on the tailgate. It also gets rid of the spare tire cover for a more rugged appearance.
Mechanically, the Rhino Edition is the same as the standard Jimny with a 1.5-liter naturally-aspirated K15B gasoline engine that produces 102 horsepower and 130 Nm of torque, mated to a four-speed automatic transmission.
The Suzuki Jimny 3-Door Rhino Edition goes for a suggested retail price of Php 1,331,000 or Php 11,000 more than the standard Jimny GLX, or just Php 1,000 more than the GLX two-tone variant. Suzuki Philippines did say that stocks are limited (with no specific number mentioned) so now is your only chance to get your hands on one of these.
