One of the most iconic vehicle nameplates from Japan is getting closer and closer to its big comeback. Honda has announced that it will be showcasing the Prelude prototype at the upcoming 2025 Tokyo Auto Salon (TAS).

This comes more than a year since the Prelude concept was first revealed to the world at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show (JMS)

Its appearance at the 2025 TAS will be our best look at what to expect as Honda  concept and prototype vehicles are known to be very identical to their production versions.

Not much is known about what to expect from the return of this nameplate except for the fact that it will have a hybrid powertrain under the hood, said to come from the current Civic e:HEV. The model to be shown at the TAS will also be equipped with customized aero parts to emphasize its sporty nature.

This surely is an exciting comeback.
