Did Honda Cars PH just confirm the Prelude’s local arrival?

Honda Cars Philippines just did quite the tease with the Prelude.

We all know that the iconic Honda Prelude nameplate is making a big comeback by 2026. Its concept version was first revealed at last year’s Japan Mobility Show, and its almost production-ready prototype version will be shown at the upcoming 2025 Tokyo Auto Salon.

It looks like it will also arrive in the Philippines, if the social media posts of Honda Cars Philippines on its official pages are anything to go by.

Looking like a prelude to the Prelude, the Japanese automaker posted on its local Facebook and Instagram accounts the same teaser videos that were posted for other markets where the new Prelude is already confirmed to be arriving. You can check that here and here.

Not much is known yet about the sixth-generation Prelude except for the fact that it will pack Honda’s e:HEV hybrid powertrain, and will feature Honda S+ Shift which aims to keep the driving experience fun. Also, as many know, Honda concept vehicles are basically production-ready when it comes to design.

It is also worth noting that if ever the Honda Prelude does get launched in the Philippines, it will be the first time that the nameplate will be made available here. Do you think HCPI will launch the Prelude?
