Changan commercial lineup in PH to be renamed to Kaicene

After 1 year in the Philippine-market.

The local commercial vehicle lineup of Changan will be renamed to Kaicene, a year after the brand was launched in the country by Berjaya Auto Asia (BAAI).

The name change is effective starting July 1, 2020 and will be used for current Changan-branded commercial and logistics models. The lineup will remain the same with three models: the Honor S, Startruck, and X5.

Kaicene is pronounced as “Kai-chen” and is owned wholly by Changan International Corporation. The three models and future models will still continue using the current Changan red arch logo.

The brand under BAAI currently has 6 dealerships in Luzon and Mindanao. These are Auto Asia Sta. Rosa in Laguna, Auto Asia Otis in Manila, Auto Asia Davao, Auto Asia Cagayan De Oro, Auto Asia General Santos, and Auto Asia Butuan.
