Kia to unveil three new EVs on February 27

If you want to talk about electrification, the Koreans are a force to be reckoned with. Kia has a yearly event called the EV Day, where it unveils the latest models and concepts slated for production.

This year’s EV day will debut three new vehicles: the EV4, the PV5, and the Concept EV2.

The EV4 was previewed at the first EV Day last year, and it’s a sleek sedan that is supposed to be the electric equivalent to Kia’s current K4.

Meanwhile, the PV5 was previewed at the 2024 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas is what Kia calls a Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV). It’s essentially a van that comes in different configurations, specifically Basic (Passenger), Van (Delivery), and Chassis Cab for the PV5.

Finally, the Concept EV2 is slated to be a compact EV. Perhaps it could be sharing its platform with the likes of the Hyundai Inster, another compact vehicle from its sister company (and also the owner of Kia).
