The Mitsubishi Grandis is set to return as a crossover

Remember the Mitsubishi Grandis? For those who don’t, that was Mitsubishi Motor’s small seven-seater MPV built at a time when models such as the Mitsubishi Xpander, Hyundai Stargazer, and Toyota Veloz were not yet a thing.
Sadly it did not make it through, being discontinued after a couple of years on the market. It’s coming back though, but like many other revived models, it’s gonna be a crossover.
It also won’t be fully a Mitsubishi as it will be a rebadged version of the Renault Symbioz. This also means that it will likely be exclusively available for European markets only like other Renault-based Mitsubishi models.

Despite being a rebadged Renault, the new Grandis will still wear Mitsubishi’s signature Dynamic Shield front fascia and Hexaguard Horizon rear design. It’s also confirmed to feature a complete suite of advanced driver-assist systems and Google Built-In connectivity.
No technical specifications have been announced yet but Mitsubishi Motors Europe has confirmed that it will come with mild-hybrid and hybrid powertrains, which will likely be shared with its Renault basis.
The new Mitsubishi Grandis will be revealed in July and will go on sale in Europe in the latter part of the year.
