2025 Ram 1500 Rebel launched in PH with new 3.0L twin turbo inline-6 engine

There’s a new truck in town for those who like them big. Ram Trucks Philippines, under the distributorship of Inchcape Philippines, has quietly introduced the new Ram 1500 Rebel. And while it looks largely the same as before, it actually gets a new engine under the hood.

Now powering the Ram 1500 Rebel is a 3.0-liter Hurricane SO twin-turbo inline-six gasoline engine. This replaces the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 of the previous version but produces more power and torque at 420 horsepower and 635 Nm, respectively, and is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Changes have also been done to the exterior with a new front mesh grille design, flanked by slimmer multi-reflector LED headlights. The front bumper is now completely finished in black, and it rides on new gloss-black 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 275/70 all-terrain tires.

For cargo carrying, the 1500 Rebel features a Truck Bed Cargo Divider for more organized cargo loading. It also gets the unique RamBox Cargo Management System which are storage compartments on the sides of the bed, allowing for weatherproof and more organized storage, and also now gets a 115-volt power outlet in it.

Other standard exterior features include automatic headlight function, LED fog lights, approach and courtesy lamps, and a power tailgate. Available exterior colors are Diamond Black, Bright White, Delmonico Red, and Billet Silver.

Inside, it carries-over most of the design cues from before. New is its fully-digital instrument cluster, as well as its 14.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system that uses Uconnect 5 and comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. 

Safety-wise, equipped are various advanced-safety systems such as active lane management, adaptive cruise control, blind spot and cross path detection, and forward collision warning, among others.

As for pricing, the new Ram 1500 Rebel is priced at Php 5,250,000 and is now available at all Ram dealerships in the country.
