The Hyundai Ioniq 6 gets sleeker and an N Line variant

Hyundai’s Ioniq line of electric vehicles has been considered one of the de facto EV brands out there, competing with the likes of Tesla and BYD in terms of tech and recognition. After the introduction of its refreshed Ioniq 5 and the Ioniq 9 SUV, the Ioniq 6 gets the nip-and-tuck treatment, alongside a sportier variant in preparation for things to come.

The “electrified streamliner” now integrates Hyundai’s new design concept of “Pure Flow, Refined.”, which simplifies the Ioniq 6’s overall visual design and aesthetic even further.

The extended hoodline has a new front fascia with very slim daytime running lights (DRLs), and the separate headlights are now integrated into the front bumper.

The Porsche-esque separate spoiler has now been removed to smooth out the rear end, which now terminates in a ducktail spoiler for improved aerodynamics. Chrome accents are also found across the car for a classier appearance.

For the first time, the Ioniq 6 also receives an N Line trim.

This comes with much more aggressive front and rear bumper designs, specific alloy wheels, and one item to differentiate it from the standard Ioniq 6 is the taillights, with bigger lighting elements and a slimmer “light bar” across.

The interior, while mostly similar to the pre-facelift, has a few key changes. There’s a redesigned steering wheel, new door trim materials, and a reconfigured center stack to make the layout more intuitive for the driver, alongside an enlarged physical climate control stack for ease of use.

There is no mention of powertrain changes, so it’s safe to assume that when the facelift will debut in our country, it will still retain the same 77.4 kWh lithium-ion battery good for up to 545km on a single charge, and an electric motor that churns out 229 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque.

But the most exciting news is that the proper Ioniq 6 N will be making its debut this July 2025, which coincides with the dates of the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
