These are the winners of the 2025 World Car Awards

It’s that time of the year again when the jury at the World Car Awards decide on which vehicle takes home the coveted World Car of the Year award. For a vehicle to be eligible for this, these cars must be produced in volumes of at least 10,000 units per year, be priced below the luxury car segment in their primary markets, and be sold in at least two major markets on at least two separate continents.
And for the vehicle that takes the 2025 World Car of the Year award, it is the Koreans once again with the Kia EV3 (780 points), beating out the likes of the BMW X3 (754 points) and Hyundai Inster or Casper Electric (764 points). This makes it two years straight for Kia, with the EV9 winning back in 2024, and also its sister company, Hyundai, winning 2023 with the Ioniq 6 and 2022 with the Ioniq 5.
