What we can expect from the PH-spec Ford Mustang Mach-E

Just a few days ago, Ford Philippines confirmed the upcoming arrival of the Mustang Mach-E which is set to become their first electrified offering in our market.
The blue oval has not confirmed any specifications and features of this fully electric crossover which uses the name of the iconic fastback muscle car, but the company has actually already submitted some of these to the Land Transportation Office back in 2024. Based on that, here’s what we know.

For starters, the Mustang Mach-E will come in two variants in our market just like its fastback version: Premium and GT.
The former is powered by a single electric motor producing 294 horsepower, with a top speed of 180kph. This is paired to a lithium-ion battery that can be charged in 45 minutes through DC charging (10-14 hours on AC charging), and allows for a 600km range.
It weighs in at 2,605kg, has a ground clearance of 172mm, and rides on 19-inch wheels wrapped in 225/55 tires.

Meanwhile, the GT gets an additional electric motor, bumping output up to a combined 487 horsepower and increasing top speed to 200kph. Its battery can also be charged 45 minutes (DC) or 10-14 hours (AC), while offering a smaller 490km range due to the increased motor output.
This is also slightly heavier at 2,717kg while riding on larger 20-inch wheels wrapped in wider 245/45 tires. Ground clearance remains the same.

As for other stuff, Ford Philippines said that more will be announced as we get closer to the Mustang Mach-E’s local debut which is expected to happen within the third quarter of this year.
