2026 Ford Territory confirmed for PH launch this coming August 8, will it be a hybrid?
One of the most popular compact crossovers to hit the Philippine market is set to receive an update as Ford Philippines has just confirmed the arrival of the refreshed Territory this coming August 8, 2025, with a teaser video on its social media pages.
Revealed with its new face last year, the current generation Ford Territory has been available in the Philippine market since its launch at the 2023 Manila International Auto Show. Hints of its arrival have also surfaced not long ago after the Land Transportation Office (LTO) posted its homologation documents.
Ford Philippines really isn’t hiding anything as the teaser video shows the new Territory in its full glory. Based on it, the new Territory for our market is basically what we saw from other markets already. It gets a more upright front fascia with a wider front grille, flanked by new LED headlights which are no longer split-designed, and a cleaner bumper design. These are matched with new alloy wheel designs and a redesigned rear bumper.
The interior remains largely the same as before with its layered dashboard design that includes a large panel housing two screens for the instrument cluster and infotainment screen. The headrests have noticeably been redesigned and we’re seeing a new two-tone black and brown color scheme.
We can also expect the top-spec variant to come equipped with a panoramic sunroof, a rotary shift dial, leather seats, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, among others.
As of this writing, nothing has been officially confirmed by Ford Philippines yet in terms of mechanicals, but the aforementioned LTO documents point to the new Territory having an electrified hybrid powertrain under the hood. We might also see the lower variant retain the 1.5-liter turbocharged engine making 160 horsepower and 248Nm if the EcoBoost badge shown on video is anything to come by.
