Best-Seller Made Better: The New Mitsubishi Xpander and Xpander Cross

From 2018 to the present, the Mitsubishi Xpander has stood the test of time, even becoming the best-selling MPV in the Philippine market in 2024 with 26,242 units finding new homes.

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines has always done its best to keep this MPV living up to its name, continuing to expand its horizon throughout the years. And for 2026, the Xpander and Xpander Cross have been expanded once more with a fresh set of updates.

Both get redesigned bumpers and new front grille designs that match and emphasize each of their own personalities, with the Xpander looking sleeker and more sophisticated, and the Xpander Cross looking bolder and more rugged.

Complementing the fresh faces are new shoes, with both getting 17-inch alloy wheels with their own unique designs for a more dynamic and sporty appearance.

Work has also been done on the inside with new tech and comfort-oriented improvements for both models.

The second row middle passenger now gets a headrest, while the Xpander Cross now gets a Burgundy and Black interior color scheme for that extra premium feel.

New features include a new eight-inch LCD Meter Display, along with a larger 10-inch Smartphone Link Display Audio (SDA) system that’s equipped with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. A new three-spoke steering wheel adds a sporty touch.

Improvements have also been done to make the driving experience even better. It still has the same 1.5-liter MIVEC engine, but is now also with Active Yaw Control (AYC)* which not only improves vehicle handing, but also ensures that you are safe in any road condition.

The new Mitsubishi Xpander and Xpander Cross are now available in the Philippines at the following retail prices:

  • Xpander GLX MT – Php 1,099,000
  • Xpander GLX AT – Php 1,159,000
