Nissan to show off all-new Elgrand and refreshed Ariya at Japan Mobility Show 2025

Despite all of Nissan’s financial troubles and programs, the company is still looking to make a splash at the Japan Mobility Show (JMS) 2025 with two new debuts at its booth.

With a focus on an Intelligent Future, Nissan’s booth will showcase iconic models and a whole roundup of its latest EVs from the global lineup, plus showcase its advances in electrification, energy management, and mobility services.

Its two biggest debuts for the show are focused on the reinvigoration of its home market, with the centerpiece being around the all-new Elgrand and the refreshed Ariya.

The Elgrand has been one of Nissan’s mainstays in its domestic lineup for almost 30 years, and this latest variant will be powered by the latest third generation of e-Power technology. Nissan says that the Elgrand will feature a more luxurious and commanding design, advanced safety features, and enhanced comfort, but you can already see a preview of that from the Hyper Tourer concept unveiled at the 2023 edition of JMS.

Meanwhile, the updated Ariya sports a refined design language that’s very similar to the new Leaf, and it will have a Google-powered infotainment, Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality, and suspension upgrades made for the Japanese roads. This will be launched in Japan first later in the fiscal year.

You can also catch the all-new Leaf, the European market-exclusive Micra, and the N7 sedan from China, alongside the championship-winning Formula E car, the Patrol, the new Roox, the upcoming Skyline 400R Limited Edition, the refreshed X-Trail, the Fairlady Z, plus a prototype of an autonomous mobility service vehicle based on the Serena.

We will be on the ground for the show, so stay tuned for our coverage later this month.
