ACMobility now has a charging station in Lucena

It’s no surprise that ACMobility is going all out in expanding and strengthening the EV charging infrastructure in the Philippines.

After its recent partnership with Shell Pilipinas and the inauguration of a DC charging station in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte, the company has headed south to Lucena City to make EV travel down south an easier affair.

Found in PTT Lucena right across the Lucena City Government Complex, this charging station currently offers a 120kW DC charger with two charge points, and a single 22kW AC charger with one charge point.

Normally, a drive from Manila to Bicol takes around 450 to 500km, which is usually the maximum range of most EVs on the road right now. This stopover along the “south corridor” of Luzon will help ease people looking to travel down south, considering the next EV charge point (as of this writing) is BYD Camarines Sur, and Ayala Malls Legazpi.

Eventually, there will be two more AC chargers in the station along Evo Tourism Road in the Giant Lucena Station, allowing residents and the public transport to go electrified without any issues.
