Mitsubishi Motors PH increases Triton prices by as much as Php 422K

One of the biggest and most controversial pieces of news in 2025 was the implementation of the Capital Markets Efficiency Promotions Act (CMEPA) which removes the excise tax exemption of pickup trucks in our market, therefore increasing retail prices.
While many automakers have announced price increases for their respective pickup truck offerings, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines was one of those that retained their original pricing for their Triton midsize pickup truck, possibly thanks to existing inventory that were imported prior to the CMEPA’s implementation.
But all good things must come to an end, and the Japanese automaker has already increased pricing, based on the latest available pricelist on their official website. These range from as low as Php 114,000, to as much as a whopping Php 422,000.
Check out the new prices below:
| Model and Variant | New Price | Price Increase |

| Triton 2.4 GL 4WD M/T | Php 1,292,000 | Php 135,000 |

| Triton 2.4 Athlete 4WD A/T | Php 2,359,000 | Php 422,000 |
Of note, the 2.4 GLX 4WD M/T trim has been discontinued for the 2026 model year, while added in the mix is the 2.4 GX 2WD A/T which you can read more about right here. It’s also worth noting that the Triton’s price increases are among the highest in the industry, especially the Athlete 4WD A/T’s Php 422,000 increase which beats out the Ford Ranger Wildtrak 4×4’s Php 390,000 increase.
How will these new prices affect your future Mitsubishi Triton purchase?
