Is Lexus Philippines sending off the LC 500 with a final edition?

When we normally write about unreleased cars that pass through the likes of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) or the Department of Energy (DOE) for homologation, they’re usually electrified or, in some cases, unique cars that may or may not make it up for sale. However, one document caught our eye, and it’s the Lexus LC 500 “Final”.
Specifically, the homologation papers say it’s the LC 500 5.0 V8 A/T Final, which is a sign that Lexus Philippines could be readying up a proper send-off to not only the luxury coupé, but also to its legendary 5.0-liter, naturally aspirated V8 engine known as the 2UR-GSE.

Last year, we saw the news that Lexus is sending off the LC 500 in the United States for the 2026 model year with a limited edition Inspiration Series that’s limited to 200 units for the Coupé and 350 for the Convertible, which might be the Final Edition meant for our market.
As the LTO documents mention that this is a Coupé, meaning that it should come finished in the Smoke Matte Gray color with a cleverly designed lightweight rigid carbon fiber rear spoiler and carbon fiber roof, complementing the front cannards, blacked out exterior accents, 21-inch matte black forged alloy wheels, and red brake calipers.

The interior gets an exclusive black-and-white semi-aniline leather finish, complete with tons of carbon fiber accents all throughout, and a serialized badge. It’s topped off with other features, such as a heads-up display, active rear steering, and a Mark Levinson Surround Sound system.

Considering that the only V8-powered model is the LC 500, this might be the perfect send-off for the model and the engine as Lexus Philippines transitions into an electrified future.
