Plug-in hybrid BMW X1 now available in PH for Php 3.998M

BMW Philippines is once again strengthening its electrified lineup with the addition of a new plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variant for the X1 subcompact crossover, dubbed the X1 xDrive25e M Sport.
The German automaker, under the distributorship of SMC Asia Cars Distributors Corporation, is one of the pioneers of electrification in the local luxury vehicle market, with its wide lineup of PHEV and battery electric vehicles (BEV). The new X1 xDrive25e M Sport gives customers an additional electrified option for the subcompact crossover, which already comes with a BEV variant.

Powering this new variant is a 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine (B38) that makes 136 horsepower and 230Nm of torque, paired to an electric motor that makes 109 horsepower and 247Nm. Combined output is 245 horsepower and 477Nm, and it can go from 0 to 100kph in 6.8 seconds.

A 16.3kWh lithium-ion battery, the X1 PHEV can drive for up to 101km on pure electric power. Meanwhile, the combined range is estimated at up to 764km on a single full tank of gas and full battery charge.

As for its looks, the X1 xDrive25e is set apart from the rest of the X1 lineup through its M Aerodynamics Package. This gives it gloss-black trim, which BMW calls the Shadowline trim, along with 19-inch M light five-spoke alloy wheels.

Available exterior colors are Alpine White, Black Sapphire, Space Silver Metallic, M Portimão Blue Metallic, Cape York Green Metallic, and Fire Red Metallic.

Meanwhile, the interior comes with a BMW Widescreen Display which houses a pair of 10.25- and 10.7-inch screens that now run on the brand’s Operating System 9, and features BMW Connected Drive. It also gets sport seats wrapped in Alcantara and Veganza upholstery, and a high-fidelity Harman Kardon sound system.

The BMW X1 xDrive25e M Sport is now available at all BMW dealerships nationwide at a retail price of Php 3,998,000, just Php 100,000 more than the entry-level turbodiesel variant. The xDrive25e M Sport is also a special introductory variant, with a standard non-M Sport variant coming in the future, so act fast if you’re interested.
If you want to see it in the metal, it will also be on display at the Power Plant Mall in Rockwell Center, Makati City from February 20-22, 2026 (Friday-Sunday).
