Pricing for the all-new Toyota RAV4 (with AWD) will start at Php 2.183M

The Honda CR-V, after its recent update with large price increases, could be in trouble, no thanks to its main rival, the Toyota RAV4, which is set to be launched here in the Philippines very soon, and with much more affordable pricing.

After some information came out on the internet, plus confirmation and teasers from Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP), pricing for the compact crossover which is scheduled for a local release in March 2026, has been revealed by a Toyota dealership.

Posted on the Toyota Makati Facebook page, pricing for the all-new Toyota RAV4 could start at Php 2,183,000 for the 2.5 ADV HEV AWD CVT variant. Meanwhile, the top-spec 2.5 LTD HEV AWD CVT could be priced at Php 2,499,000.

This move by TMP could mean a huge chunk of potential sales for the Honda CR-V could go to the RAV4 instead. The RAV4 rival was recently updated with its new 2.0 RS e:HEV AWD E-CVT variant priced at Php 2,838,000. Meanwhile, the front-wheel drive (FWD) 2.0 VX e:HEV E-CVT is priced similarly to the LTD HEV at Php 2,488,000.

Another rival, the Subaru Forester e-Boxer Hybrid, could also see a decline in potential sales as it’s currently priced at Php 2,498,000, or just Php 1,000 cheaper than the LTD HEV.

Comparing with the outgoing generation’s lineup, the new ADV HEV AWD variant will be Php 131,000 more expensive than the current entry-level non-AWD 2.5 XLE HEV CVT (Php 2,052,000), while the LTD HEV AWD will be Php 137,000 more expensive than the current non-AWD LTD HEV.

Final local specifications for the all-new Toyota RAV4 are not yet available, but we do know that both will come in AWD only, and will be powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder Atkinson Cycle engine (A25A-FXS), paired to dual electric motors and 1.09kWh lithium-ion battery. Maximum engine-only output is 186 horsepower, and the system is mated to a CVT

The ADV HEV will also have a different and more rugged exterior, based on the global Adventure trim (Woodland in North America), compared to the LTD HEV which will be based on the global Core trim. You can read more about the all-new Toyota RAV4 here and here
