The Nissan Patrol (and Armada) win the prestigious iF Design Award

Cars receiving design awards internationally comes as no surprise. A lot of them win awards for a balance of form, function and differentiation, and a handful of other factors.
The Nissan Patrol (and its American sibling, the Armada), have both received the prestigious iF Design Award from the iF International Forum Design GmbH (iF International Forum Design Inc.) in Hannover, Germany.
Other cars that have also won awards this year include the Volvo XC70, the Kia EV4 and PV5, the Chery Qurio, the Avatr 06, the Xpeng New P7, the Hyundai Ioniq 6 N and Concept THREE, the Ferrari SC40, Amalfi, 849 Testarossa, and the 296 Speciale and Speciale A, the Mazda EZ-60, the TELO MT1, the Linktour Alumi, and the Wuling Sunshine EV.
iF International Forum Design GmbH attributes the Patrol’s award to its unique “Double-C” motif found in multiple areas of the car. It described the Patrol with an “unbreakable” presence and “bold dignity.” Meanwhile, its cockpit is described as intuitive and spacious.
The iF Design Award was established in 1954, and is recognized as one of the world’s most renowned design awards. This year has a panel of 129 experts from 21 nationalities, having judged more than 10,000 entries from 68 different countries.
