Changan PH to launch Eado Plus this March 25

Changan Philippines, under the distributorship of Inchcape Philippines, may be focused on offering crossovers like many other Chinese automakers in the local market, but they know there’s room for other segments such as the humble sedan.

In fact, last year they introduced the plug-in hybrid Nevo A05 compact sedan, while the Eado EV460 was offered to fleet customers for use in taxi services. Soon, the brand’s sedan lineup will be expanded with the introduction of the Eado Plus.

Launching in the Philippines this coming March 25, 2026 (Wednesday), the Eado Plus will be replacing the discontinued Alsvin subcompact sedan. It’s confirmed to come in two variants: Lite and Luxe

Specifications and pricing for each variant have not yet been announced as of this writing, but available information from other sources do tell us that it could come powered by a 1.5-liter gasoline engine, and it will measure at 4,730mm long, 1,820mm wide, and 1,505mm tall.

Those dimensions also match what’s shown in the teaser image provided by Changan Philippines, which shows that we will be getting the second generation version which is still in production in China, and not the newer third generation which is essentially a pure ICE version of the Nevo A05, probably done to cater to different market segments.

Changan Philippines says that they expect this to become one of their volume drivers, and of course, we don’t have to wait too long to find out more about it as its launch is happening in less than two weeks from the time of this writing.
