All-new 2026 Toyota RAV4 officially launches in PH with AWD, two variants, Php 2.183M start price

After a couple of teasers, price leaks, and previews, the all-new Toyota RAV4 has officially begun retail sales in the Philippines, and it might be game over for its main rivals—the Honda CR-V and Subaru Forester.

The pioneer of the mainstream compact SUV segment, the RAV4 nameplate is now in its sixth generation since it first made its world debut in 1994. It came to the Philippines in 1997, with every generation coming to the market as well.

As previously reported, two variants are available for the all-new Toyota RAV4: 2.5 ADV HEV AWD CVT (or Adventure), priced at Php 2,183,000, and 2.5 LTD HEV AWD CVT (or Limited), priced at Php 2,499,000.

The ADV is touted as the more rugged and adventure-oriented trim for those looking for something more macho, while the LTD is aimed at those looking for a more elegant crossover.

Both also share the same powertrain, a 2.5-liter (A25-FXS) four-cylinder engine, paired to dual electric motors and a lithium-ion battery. The engine alone produces 186 horsepower and 221Nm of torque, while the electric motors produce 136 horsepower (front) and 54 horsepower (rear). Combined power output is a respectable 239 horsepower, sent to all four wheels via Toyota’s E-Four AWD system.

Toyota Motor Philippines has definitely gone the competitive route with the all-new RAV4. Something we’ve considered to have become a niche product, do you think it has what it takes to dominate the compact SUV segment today?

If you want to see it in the metal, it’s now available at all Toyota dealerships nationwide. You can also catch it and take it for a spin at the Go Beyond Zero event at the Alabang Town Center Town Plaza from March 25-29, 2026 (Wednesday to Sunday).
