VinFast brings in Green Vehicle Rental program for TNVS drivers
For those looking to dip their toes into ride-hailing or transport service network services, VinFast has expanded its Green Vehicle Rental Program to include both Indonesia and the Philippines, making it easier for customers to switch to electric vehicles.
The new program allows customers to rent from the Green lineup: the Herio Green and the Limo Green, alongside purchasing them outright. This allows drivers to start offering their ride-sharing and ride-hailing services much faster with the low upfront costs that come with EV ownership.
Under VinFast’s rental model, there are competitive fixed daily rates starting from IDR 312,500 for Indonesia and Php 1,000 for the Philippines. For those who choose to own the vehicles the traditional way, there are various financing solutions for commercial use that are structured to minimize initial payments while aligning repayment schedules with the drivers’ income streams to ease the burden of payments.
Rollout will start within Greater Jakarta for Indonesia, and Metro Manila for the Philippines, and a gradual expansion is planned across both countries. Customers will also benefit from the free charging at V-Green stations until March 2029, which further cuts down on operating expenses.
