Tesla vehicles in PH now come with Grok AI as standard

We’re not the biggest fans of artificial intelligence, more commonly known by its AI abbreviation, but whether we like it or not and for better or worse, it’s becoming a feature of many new vehicles on the market.
One brand that has been making full use of AI technology is Tesla, introducing Grok to its vehicles back in July 2025. This isn’t surprising as both are owned by none other than Elon Musk. And now, Tesla vehicles in the Philippines now come with Grok as standard.

This was announced by Tesla Philippines at the recently concluded 10th Philippine International Motor Show where its capabilities were demonstrated to the public, including providing answers to questions when asked, or navigating to a destination, typical of most AI products. In addition to basic functions, Grok is also able to speak in multiple languages such as Tagalog.
All Tesla vehicles in the country will now come with Grok as standard, from the entry-level Tesla Model 3 Standard RWD, all the way to the Tesla Model Y L. The feature can be enabled simply by saying “Hey Grok!” or by doing a long press on the voice assistant button on the steering wheel.

Already own a Tesla vehicle without the Grok AI feature but want it? Worry not, as Tesla’s vehicles are compatible with over-the-air (OTA) updates, and Tesla Philippines has already released a software update (Update 26.20) for select vehicles, and is gradually rolling it out to more vehicles as of this writing. It’s also good to note that the Grok feature requires the Premium Connectivity package, or a WiFi connection.
What are your thoughts on Grok becoming standard on Tesla vehicles, and thoughts on AI-based vehicle features?
