RECAP: All the new cars of the 10th Philippine International Motor Show

The 10th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) has come to an end. Held on June 4 to 7, 2026, it brought together a total of 17 automotive brands, each showcasing their latest products for our market.
Some brands launched new offerings, while some did previews. But more importantly, the majority of new products that were showcased at the four-day motor show had some sort of electrification, showing the growing interest in these kinds of vehicles in the Philippines, and how each brand is adapting to this market shift.
We’ve compiled a list of every new vehicle that was either launched or previewed at the 10th PIMS. In order of their respective unveilings, here they are:

Suzuki e Vitara
After a little bit of a wait, Suzuki Philippines has officially introduced its first non-mild hybrid electrified offering for our market, the e Vitara. Essentially the basis of the Toyota Urban Cruiser which launched locally a few months ago, this fully electric subcompact crossover is priced at Php 2,020,000 and will be available in the coming months.
Specifications are similar to its Toyota sibling with a single front electric motor that produces 174 horsepower and 193Nm of torque, paired to a 61kWh lithium-iron phosphate (LFP) battery that allows for a range of 475km on a single full charge.
Features include 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels, synthetic leather and fabric seat upholstery, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and a six-speaker Infinity audio system.

Isuzu D-MAX

While the Isuzu D-MAX EV has yet to arrive in our market, Isuzu Philippines is still committed to its lone turbodiesel-powered midsize pickup truck offering as it gives the D-MAX LS-A Plus and LS-E grades a bit of an update for 2026.
Soon to be available in our market, the refreshed “lifestyle variants” of the Isuzu D-MAX receive a redesigned front grille and fog light housings, new 18-inch alloy wheels which get a somewhat more elegant look, and clear lens taillights, all on the outside. Inside, the 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system has been updated with a new user interface, and the leather (or fabric on LS-A Plus) upholstery has been updated with a new pattern.
Engine options also remain the same with lower variants still powered by a 1.9-liter RZ4E turbodiesel engine good for 150 horsepower and 400Nm of torque, while most trims soldier on with the tried-and-tested 3.0-liter 4JJ3-TCX turbodiesel engine making 190 horsepower and 450Nm of torque.
Updated pricing will be announced at a later date.

Nissan X-Trail e-Power

After more than five years in overseas markets, and with an all-new generation already unveiled not long ago, the fourth generation Nissan X-Trail has finally arrived in our market, powered by Nissan’s e-Power hybrid system, and available in a single variant that’s priced at a competitive Php 2,290,000.
Sourced from Japan instead of Thailand, our market gets the latest facelift which comes with an updated V-Motion grille with horizontal slats and a blacked-out finish, new 19-inch multi-spoke two-tone alloy wheels, and gloss black bumpers and cladding. It also gets a new three-spoke steering wheel design, along with a new 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
As mentioned, under the hood is Nissan’s e-Power hybrid system. Here, a 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine powers an electric motor and a 1.85kWh lithium-ion battery. Combined output is 204 horsepower and 330Nm of torque, sent to the front wheels

Nissan Kicks e-Power

The heavily revised Nissan Kicks e-Power has been previewed by Nissan Philippines, and is now available for reservation. Launching this coming July 2026, it brings a much needed update to the aging subcompact crossover.
Based on the Brazilian market Nissan Kait, its exterior has been almost completely redesigned compared to the outgoing version, save for the roof and doors. The front fascia is sleeker and more futuristic with a split headlight design and a large grille, and the interior is more upmarket with more soft-touch surfaces and added technology.
Final specifications for our market have not yet been announced but we can expect the outgoing version’s e-Power hybrid system to be carried over, a 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine that powers a 2.06kWh lithium-ion battery and electric motor. Combined system output is still the same at 136 horsepower and 280Nm of torque.

Toyota Land Cruiser 300 HEV

Toyota Motor Philippines is bringing electrification to its flagship SUV offering with the introduction of a new hybrid variant. Previously available only with large oil-burning turbodiesel powertrains, this marks a huge change for the iconic and long-running nameplate.
Instead of a 3.3-liter twin-turbo diesel V6, the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Hybrid gets a 3.5-liter twin-turbo gasoline V6 engine (V35A-FTS), paired to an electric motor and 1.87kWh battery. Combined, the system produces a healthy 415 horsepower and 650Nm of torque, mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain is also shared with the more luxurious Lexus LX 700h, albeit with less power and torque in this implementation.
Compared to the non-hybrid Land Cruiser 300, the hybrid variant gets a sleeker front bumper, slightly lower ground clearance at 234mm, and electric power-assist steering instead of hydraulic, among other small changes. Its price? Php 6,930,000 or an additional Php 1,172,000.

This is paired to front and rear electric motors that make 116 horsepower and 255Nm, and 136 horsepower and 195Nm, respectively. It also comes with Mitsubishi exclusives like Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) and Active Yaw Control (AYC) to improve handling.
Pricing is not yet available for our market, but we can expect it to be equipped with features such as 20-inch alloy wheels, light gray leather seat upholstery, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a Yamaha sound system, among others.
