Updated Nissan Kicks e-Power is coming soon with four variants for PH

With Nissan Philippines’ recent introduction of four new models to the market at the recent Philippine International Motor Show, it’s easy to guess that the next model to be released to the public after the X-Trail e-Power is the upcoming Kicks e-Power, which was shown off to the world at the 2026 Bangkok International Motor Show.
With reservations already open and a launch expected soon, it’s only a matter of time before Nissan Philippines shows off more details of the vehicle. However, thanks to available public information, we already have a rough idea of what variants will be available for our market.

Specifically coming in four variants, the VE, the VL, the LE, and the LE Plus, this could mean that we could see Nissan Philippines branch the Kicks out towards the premium end of the compact crossover segment. The VE now occupies where the entry-level EL variant used to be, and the LE trickles down from the Nissan Patrol.
This change makes sense when you consider a handful of features that were introduced on this model as we saw at BIMS 2026, like a two-tone interior, the new infotainment system, the ProPilot safety features, and more.
And as we already know, the e-Power hybrid powertrain is carried over from the previous model, with a 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine that powers a 2.06kWh lithium-ion battery and electric motor. Combined system output is still the same at 136 horsepower and 280Nm of torque.
Would you be excited to buy a more premium Nissan Kicks, especially with the changes that were made to this newer model?
