Toyota Motor PH partners with AAP for free 24/7 roadside assistance

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is boosting its aftersales support for its customers as it partners with the Automobile Association of the Philippines (AAP), giving eligible Toyota vehicle owners access to free 24/7 Emergency Roadside Assistance (ERA) starting August 2026.
According to TMP’s press release, “the partnership reinforces Toyota’s commitment to customer safety, peace of mind, and dependable mobility beyond the point of vehicle purchase by providing eligible motorists with nationwide roadside assistance backed by AAP, one of the country’s most trusted motoring organizations.”
Eligible customers, starting with owners of new Toyota Tamaraw and Toyota Lite Ace units sold in August 2026, will be able to enjoy one-year of membership, valid from their vehicle release date, and can be activated by scanning the QR code included with their membership card.

The free roadside assistance services includes flat tire replacement, battery boosting, minor on-site mechanical repairs, emergency fuel delivery, and towing assistance of up to one intervention or 25km to the nearest Toyota dealership.
“AAP has been recognized for its commitment to road safety, a mission that Toyota deeply shares. That is why today’s agreement is significant. It reflects our shared commitment to providing better service and greater peace of mind to our customers. Through this program, we want our customers to know that help is available whenever they need it,” said TMP President Masando Hashimoto. “At Toyota, our responsibility does not end when we hand over the keys. We remain committed to supporting our customers throughout their ownership journey.”
The introduction of the new free roadside assistance is not the first partnership between Toyota Motor Philippines and AAP. The two have built a long relationship through initiatives that promote road safety and responsible motoring, including their collaboration in the Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippine Cup.
