Here’s everything you need to know about the 2021 Changan CS75 Plus

One of the five models that Changan Motor Philippines Inc. (CMPI), the official distributor of Changan vehicles in the Philippines, introduced during the launch of their brand late last year was the CS75 Plus compact crossover SUV.

The current second-generation CS75 Plus was first introduced at the 2019 Shanghai Auto Show. The latest iteration of the CS75 Plus boasts Changan’s latest modeling and design language. It is also dubbed as Changan’s “intelligent SUV”, recently bagging the Supreme Gold Award at the 2019-2020 International CMF Design Awards in China for acing the stringent six-point criteria of “innovation, aesthetics, functionality, landing stability, environment protection, and emotion.”

Outside, the CS75 Plus definitely looks like an imposing figure on the road especially with its sleek and sporty styling. Standard are LED headlamps with daytime running lights up front, LED taillights at the back, 18-inch alloy wheels, and a panoramic sunroof.

Inside, the CS75 Plus is equipped with features such as a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, 12-inch Touchscreen Multimedia System, and a 360-degree panoramic camera, which comes in handy for safe parking, turning, and backing up. The driver console is also designed to have all the controls within reach—no fumbling around, and the better to keep both hands on the wheel and eyes on the road.

Other features are Nappa grain leather seats, red-black interior giving it a classic sports vibe, automatic air-conditioning system with a certified PM0.1 grade compound anti-bacterial and anti-viral air filter that achieves 97.7% filtration of 0.3-micron particles. This means that Changan models equipped with this filter will give the entire vehicle the safety level of an N95 mask.

The CS75 Plus is powered by a turbocharged 1.5 L gasoline engine with direct injection mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission with maximum power of 175 hp  and maximum torque of 265 Nm.

The CS75 Plus has your back with its suite of active and passive intelligent safety systems. Standard are the 6-airbag system, Traction Control System, Electronic Stability Control, Hill Hold Control, Hill Descent Control, Electronic Parking Brake, a 360° Panoramic Camera, and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

The CS75 Plus 1.5L variant is available at an introductory price of Php 1,299,000, and available in shades of White, Gray, Black, and Blue.

All Changan vehicles come with the standard 5-year/150,000-kilometer warranty and free Preventive Maintenance Services (PMS) labor for the first year (or up to 20,000 kilometers).
