You CAN still get a Ford Everest Sport in Deep Crystal Blue

Earlier today, we posted an article about Ford Philippines no longer selling Deep Crystal Blue colored Ford Everest Sport units. Well it was apparently fake news.

Yes, Ford Philippines will continue selling the popular color of the Sport variant of its popular pick-up based SUV.

While the Everest Sport is still your usual Everest, it has something unique to it. That is its availability with Deep Crystal Blue exterior color which matched the dark blue panels on the doors and dashboard inside. Whether in pictures or in person, the blue exterior plus black accents all around on the Everest Sport is undoubtedly one of the best color combinations in the lineup.

According to a contact from a local Ford dealer, Ford PH has stopped importing the said color with no reason given. A quick look at the Ford PH website also confirmed this, except for an available brochure which may not have been updated. We also made mention that we were still awaiting for comment from Ford Philippines.

Thankfully, Ford Philippines quickly responded when we asked for comment. AVP for Communications EJ Francisco simply said “The Deep Crystal Blue variant is still available in the Everest Sport.” 

So for those who already went and chose different colors for their new Everest Sport, you might want to reconsider getting a Deep Crystal Blue one.
