BMW PH adds the X1 xDrive25e xLine to its PHEV lineup

BMW Philippines continues to bolster its lineup of electrified plug-in hybrid vehicles as it introduces a newer, more affordable variant of the X1 PHEV in the xDrive25e xLine.
Compared to the xDrive25e M Sport that was launched last February, this one retails for Php 3,398,000, which is Php 600,000 less.

It still carries over the same 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine (B38) that makes 136 horsepower and 230Nm of torque, with an electric motor that makes 109 horsepower and 247Nm. Combined output is 245 horsepower and 477Nm, and it can go from 0 to 100kph in 6.8 seconds.
With a 16.3kWh lithium-ion battery, the X1 PHEV can drive up to 102km on pure electric power, and combined range is estimated at up to 764km on a full tank of gas and full charge.

What makes it different are its aesthetics inside and out– it has more satin chrome accents, with gloss black cladding to, adaptive LED headlights, and 18-inch alloy wheels. It’s available in Alpine White, Black Sapphire, Mineral White, Dune Grey, Cape York Green, Space Silver, Night Dusk Blue, and Fire Red.

The interior uses black perforated Veganza leather upholstery, front Sport seats, the Live Cockpit Plus featuring a 10.25-inch instrument cluster and 10.7-inch infotainment running on Operating System 9. Instead of a Harman/Kardon sound system, it features the standard BMW sound system.

It still keeps amenities like the comfort access system with an automatic tailgate, wireless charging, and a suite of advanced driver assistance systems, including blind spot monitoring with rear cross traffic alert, a 360-degree camera, and the Parking Assistance.
To top it off, it comes with a free portable charger, and comes with a five-year (or 200,000km, whichever comes first) comprehensive warranty, and an eight-year (or 120,000km, whichever comes first) battery warranty.
